We are running two SUMMER READING and MATH CONTESTS for St. Ferdinand School students! In your Family Packet you received  a 2-sided paper “log” to keep track of how many minutes reading and math your children do this summer! (You may download another one below if you ran out of space or need another log.) 

Why not have them devote a little bit each day, or a day once a week, to enjoying some quiet reading time and keeping those math facts fresh?!  Many neighborhood library branches are now open to snag a new pile of good books every couple of weeks, and math can be practiced at any time via math websites, flashcards, Googling math worksheets, etc.

Prizes will be given out to EVERY child that participates – with even better prizes presented to the students with the most minutes completed in each homeroom, and in the school overall! Let’s keep those student minds fresh for the fall! 🙂
